Cystocoele Information
What is Cystocoele?
A Cystocoele occurs when the wall between a woman's bladder and her vagina weakens and allows the bladder to droop into the vagina.
A Cystocoele is mild when the bladder droops only a short way into the vagina. With more severe Cystocoele, the bladder sinks far enough to reach the opening of the vagina. This condition may cause discomfort and problems with emptying the bladder.
Cystocoele Facts and Information
The weakening of the muscular wall in Cystocoele condition can cause urine to leak from the bladder when there is an increase in internal abdominal pressure such as in sneezing or coughing.
